Bring your change to church this weekend and come up to dump it in the bucket to help Missionary Meg.
We’re having a “Noisy Offering” to support Meg Boren, Grace’s very own medical missionary in Nicaragua. Meg does such great work improving both the health and education of the people in her community in Central America. Our offering of our change is one small way in which we can help her with all she does. Parents, have your kids bring some of their loose change (bills are fine, too!) to add to this offering. Let’s all rally around Meg and the work of Jesus Christ she does as a part of our Grace family! In Christ, Pastor Paul Pastor Heidi AIM Ruth We're all set for Operation Inasmuch on Sunday. We have about 140 Grace members who have signed up to help with one of our many projects that day.
The weather forecast is great and it should be a very productive and worthwhile afternoon of work and service in our communities. A Couple More Volunteers are Needed - All of our projects are filled but one. We still need two more volunteers to help do some yard work involving weeding and trimming some plants at the home of a local senior citizen. This job begins at 1:30 p.m. Please call the church office (377-4770) if you can help with this. Here's our schedule for the day. Worship for everyone at Grace is at 10:00 a.m. If you are volunteering you're welcome to wear your work clothes to church. It will be great to see so many people in worship ready for work. You can also change at church after worship. The meal for all of our volunteers will be served after worship. Once we're done eating the various work groups will get organized and then head out to their projects. When your group is done with your project you can head home. You don't need to come back to church. Photos: Make sure to take lots of photos of your work projects! We'd like to share what we did with the whole congregation. |
