​We thank you for your interest in the Grace Lutheran Craft Fair. The craft fair will be held at Grace Lutheran Church (715 6 th Ave Grafton, WI 53024) on Saturday November 12th 2016 from 8am to 2pm. We will take applications on a first come first serve basis. To keep the spirit of a craft fair we ask that all items be hand-made. The cost of one booth (10x10 foot) is $25. This includes 2 chairs. There are a few number of tables available on a limited basis. If a vendor needs additional space they can reserve multiple booths. The fee for the booth will go to support Circle of Empowerment, a health care and education non-profit organization in rural Nicaragua. We are also have a silent auction benefiting the Adult Literacy Center in Ozaukee County. We are encouraging vendors to donate an item to the auction. Vendor set up will be on Friday November 11th from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday November 12th from 6am to 8am. We ask the all vendors are set up by 8am and stay until the fair is over at 2pm.

We are starting to prepare for September 11th when we go out, along with tens of thousands of ELCA members all around the country, to serve our communities on "God's Work Our Hands" Sunday.

We had over 120 Grace members give their afternoon last year and want to increase that number this year.
 
The planning team has started its work, but there are a lot of needs and duties we have to fill.  Here is a list of some of the things we are working on now.  If you want to get involved or can help us out please call the church office (377-4770) and let us know.
 
We need: 

• People to serve on the planning team
• Members who have elderly or disabled neighbors who may have some yard work or small outside home repair jobs that our volunteers could do in an afternoon.  If you know someone please let us know
• Someone to head up the Packers' Party at the Grafton Senior Center.  We did this last year and it was a big success
• Someone to work with All Peoples to plan a project or two that our volunteers could do along with members of All Peoples
• Volunteers to help organize and serve the meal for our volunteers on September 11th
• Ideas for other projects and activities that our volunteers can do.  We'd like to expand the number of opportunities to serve

 
Please see where you can help.  We especially are looking for local residents who could benefit from yard work or small repair projects.  These fit perfectly at the heart of "God's Work Our Hands".
