Thursday Evening Bible Study
The Thursday Evening Bible Study group is made up of a group of Christians who are dedicated to growing in their knowledge of God's Word and what it means for our daily lives.
The group meets most Thursday evenings in the church library at 7:30 p.m., following the Thursday evening worship service. The study lasts for 45 minutes. We do not meet on the Thursday of the church council meeting which is usually the fourth Thursday of the month. We take our time in our study of scripture and faith themes. Our study of the Acts of the Apostles took fifteen months and we spent one class talking about a single verse! Pastor Paul prepares a handout outline for the class and takes the class through the portion of scripture, or the theme we are studying for the night. Of course, there is always time for questions, discussion and interesting tangents as we discuss the Bible and our faith.
The class is open to everyone! Visitors and new participants are always welcome. You don't need to be a Bible expert to be part of this group of dedicated Bible students.

Our Thursday Evening Study during 2018 is "Revelation: Hope and Faith Above All"
In the fall of 2018 we are going to take a close, close look at the last and most mysterious book of the Bible – Revelation. While many people see Revelation as a secret road map to the end times in our own day, it was actually a work of encouragement to the early Christians living late in the First Century AD. This was a time when Christians faced severe persecution at the hands of the Roman Empire. Revelation’s cryptic language and strange images were meant to help these believers endure and be strong. Join us for this journey into hope and faith.
