Faith 5 Series - Bless

In our final sermon series on FAITH 5 we talk about the importance of sharing blessings with one another.  When we share blessings we join ourselves to God's love, power and presence.  In my message I am going to hold up a number of important points to remember about all that happens when we bless one another in God's name.

Faith 5 Series - Pray

The Bible is full of stories of prayer, and how God hears our prayers and answers them.  But that doesn't always feel like the case.  The sermon will look at why it's important to keep praying, and how persistent prayer can change our life and faith. Prayer is an important part of the FAITH5, and of the life of Christians.

Faith 5 Series - Talk

Talking about faith and sharing our faith stories with one another is a crucial part of growing in faith. If we Christians don't share our faith in our homes and in our lives, who will share that message? This week's "FAITH5" message holds up the importance of talking about our faith. It is as simple as sharing our daily "Highs and Lows" with one another and then finding a brief way to tie them into God's word. There will be lots of practical advice on how to do this in the message.

Faith 5 Series - Read

On Reformation Sunday, we look at Step 2 of the FAITH5- Reading Scripture.  Reading just one verse a day from the Bible helps us to grow in faith, little by little.  By taking just a few minutes, we get to know God and we receive God's grace, peace and wisdom in our lives.

Faith 5 Series - Share

Jesus told us that when we share our burdens with him, they are lightened.  When we share our burdens and our joys with our families, and then with Christ, we do feel better.  Psychological and Neurological studies confirm this!  Bearing one another's burdens and bringing them to Christ are one of the blessings of being a part of the church.  Come to share your highs and lows with God in worship this week.
